The rent went up with very short notice so we put in our notice to vacate 30 days in advance and was charge $900 for insufficient notice- despite the insufficient notice that rent was making a huge leap up. The rent went up almost $240 which is absolutely outrageous considering the mediocre condition of the complex. The apartments are old and are just disguised with poor paint jobs and new flooring. Additionally, the washer and dryers never work.
My car has been broken into since being here and they no longer have the courtesy officer on duty. They frequent the complex and make themselves at home in the fitness and laundry facilities. However, this complex sits between two street corners that is overwhelmed with panhandlers. The staff has been friendly to us and the experience with maintenance or leasing agents have been pleasant. Were on our way out and I would advise anyone who doesnt live here already to avoid this place. Notice: The restaurant located in the Company Store will be opening soon.Come home to The Venue at Winter Park, nestled in the heart of Winter Park! During winter hours, the Company Store is open 8 a.m. Winter hours at Cass run November 1 to March 31. The visitors center is open Wednesday to Sunday from 9:00 a.m.
The park also features an artisans co-op and the Cass Historical Theater and Historical Museum, one of America’s only authentic lumber railroading museums. The Company Store, which houses a gift shop and also the Shay Restaurant and Soda Fountain, is open daily from 8 a.m. The park’s 11-mile long heritage railroad and authentic company town are some of the state’s most popular tourist attractions.
